Decks
Deck and Arbor and Fence, St. Louis Park, MN
Dear friends and customers proving, once again, that the two can mix. We married ideas and reality, dreams and sweat and created a beautiful and functional environment. The blue cold water of the pool was an especially taunting tease. But we are Minnesotan and we put those temptations away and went on digging footings!

Deck and steps Golden valley, Mn
Existing deck and steps were almost 20 years old. We tore them apart and rebuilt to last at least another 20 years. To stop leaking between the poured underground roof of the garage and the house the yard had to be partially excavated (thanks, Pete), a layer of tar and tin flashing applied, drain tile installed, the dirt replaced and the plants replanted.

There is nothing better for your soul than repeat customers.
A sweet little deck in a city back yard. We also spent as much time repairing siding that was in pretty rough shape
after the aluminum siding was removed. But the house is so happy.

Door and step, Mpls, MN
We added a door to the dining room where a window used to be. New step will lead to small patio area
My dear friend Ira graciously allowed me to help him with his deck project. Day one (after he had torn down the previous deck incarnation) we dug and poured footings. Day two friends Michael and Sonja came by to make the framing an event both fun and quick. My last day with Ira was to finish the framing and get a start on the decking. Martha and he were so accommodating to both I and to Walt both of whom are forever spoiled.

After a slippery go round with zoning officials we finally got permission to pour the footings. racing to finish the work before the snow and before the new twins arrive. Good luck Kathy and Mark!
