Malaysia

12 27 2002 to 01 17 2003 

Three week trip to Malaysia with son, Victor. We visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Sandikan and Taman Negara National Park. We saw Mosques, Buddhist temples, Hindu shrines, Orang Utangs, tropical rainforests, snakes, caves, beaches and monkeys. We ate Malay, Chinese, Indian and Thai food. We stayed in beautiful 5-star hotels, cabins in the jungles and beach resorts. We tried to understand and explain American foreign policy to incredulous locals and other tourists. We traveled seamlessly together.
