Cuba 2003

Anne and I traveled to Cuba via Toronto for a week, half of which we spent in old Havana and the other on the beach in Veradero. We were glad to have gone before Cuba is opened up to the U.S. and overrun. We were greeted with open arms by the Cubans. We hung on the Malacon, drank in Hemingway's old haunts, ate in the old Dupont mansion, made many friends and were impressed by the history and the music and the dire situation of the locals that we found
